Intro
It all started when I decided to pursue an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree in the most prestigious technical university of Greece (NTUA). Among many other things, it helped me a lot in having a programmatic way of thinking.
My current experience as a PhD student in Industrial and Systems Engineering (Rutgers University) sparked my interest in advanced mathematics, statistics and linear algebra.
After realizing how data-centric our world is today, I am now convinced that my future lies in the overlapping region of statistics and software engineering. Machine Learning, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence are exactly there.
